YO!!! We are The Art Of Silence, were are a emo/progressive/hardcore/experimental band from south east London. We are a relatively new to the scene but hope to be out their in your CD players and stuck in your minds asap!!!
The band was formed when we meet in a pub and thats it lol. Alot of changes have happend to the band, weve seen great musicians come and go but have always remaind true to our sound and creativity.
Unlike most bands we strive to follow the flow of our passions, not copy our heroes, and with this have made a strange blend of acoustic, emo, post-hardcore sound.
With influences stretching from marillion to fall out boy, apleseed cast to killswitch engage, classical to trance and hardhouse, masterdon to tool, incubus to feeder and other great influences were gonna bring some very strange and creative sounds.
We are still currently auditioning for a drummer, keybordest/pianist and a vocalist so please feel free to contact us if you like what you hear. All influences are indeed welcome.
