Members: Bove, Dave, JT, Jeff, Mike, Sean
These songs were all put together in the span of about two or three days. We were offered a compilation with national distribution on Jump Up! Records but could not afford to go into a recording studio again, especially since most of our output from studios has been shitty. The songs for our new album were not ready.
Without money, we enlisted the help of a couple of very good friends, Rob Spadaro, Mike Ciuffo and George Marshall, we managed to get our hands on some equipment. Excluding drums which were tracked at our friend Mike Ciuffo's house with several microphones, these songs were recorded entirely on a laptop computer in my bedroom, our friend Craig Howe's living room, The Keepaway's practice studio, our van and a barn in Monson, MA. We used an MBox with ProTools LE (SRLP $500), a tube condenser micrphone called "The Bear" (SRLP unknown), a SM-58 (SRLP $50ish), and a pair of TDK headphones (SRLP $50ish).
These songs were recorded with very little actual knowledge of how to use ProTools correctly, but trial and error eventually led to something decent. These songs are still unmixed, therefore unavailable for download. They will be mixed, mastered and released before the end of the year. The songs are proof that if you are in a smaller band, you don't need to blow your money on a recording studio. You are much better off plugging something into a decent computer, spending the money you'd spend on a studio on good microphones and figuring it out yourself. Then you can record stuff on a whim for free.
Studio versions of other songs of ours are available for download. Our 52 song Discography, which is now more of a Retrospective Compendium is available at www.interpunk.com.
And as always, our website is http://www.asobrock.com and has too much information. Thanks to you.

You guys are by far my favorite local band, which is why it makes me sad to see that you don't play anymore. I used to love going to your shows and singing along into the mic and holding JT's keyboard. Good times. Come back to Jersey sometime...ya know...if you're bored or something. Feb 26

You guys kick ass but your recording equipment is shit. Your songs come through all blurry. What\'s good i that I still think they rock even though they\'re static. Seriously, invest in better equipment. The only clear song is RSTLNE. If you guys did get better equipment already, rerecord \"I, Musical Genius\". That song is rad. Jun 23
