As you may have noticed, the site hasn't been updated for a while. So I'd thought I'd do the honors and officially announce the status of the band as it has been for the past few months: The Apache Sesh Revolution has broken up and will no longer play any more shows or record any new songs. Thanks to everyone who visited the site, listened to us, watched us, or supported us in one way or another. The band broke up simply because Alex and myself are going off to college while Will and Graham are still in high school in New Hampshire. Everyone left on good terms and wishes each other the best in whatever the future may hold. I know Alex is looking to start a band up at McGill in Canada, and I've already semi-formed my new band, The Kinky Shamans, at Northwestern. I'll make sure to post on here any new developments and/or music projects I hear of regarding any former Apace Revolutionaries. Until then, enoy the free downloads of all the ASR stuff!

Just posted my studio recorded guitar solo, "Sky Harbor Phantoms" up for free download. Although it says on this site that it's from the Live from the New Space concert, it isn't. Anyways, enjoy it. Our live concert DVD is also complete, so if you'd like a copy e.mail mfrantz@sps.edu

Sorry this took so long...so we just uploaded a bunch of our live stuff from our concert in the New Space from 4/7/2007...please be aware that we accidentally labeled a few tracks from the New Space concert as Live from the Freeman concert....we only have 3 songs from the Freeman concert: BBC, Hey Ya, and Bad Spell. All the other songs are from the New Space show...in other news, we've been busy recording. We expect the album to be done in 3 weeks, and we'll post everything up here for you guys to download for free. And lastly, expect a surprise Saturday night concert at St. Paul's sometime in the near future...

Hey Guys,
The song writing retreat in Burlington went really well- we finished writing the entire full length LP. The good news is we plan to start recording this week. It's a very diverse, eclectic sounding album. Hopefully you guys will dig it as much as we do...Our big concert is in 11 days, on Saturday April 7 at the New Space at St. Paul's School in Concord, NH. No fee to get in, so you definately should come if you can. The opening band is the Terry Wardrop Experience, which is a band I've been a fan of for a long time. The show starts at 8:00 PM. Some tentative track titles include: Bad Spell, Green Eyes, Rocketsauce, Chicken McNasty, Avarice, Mr. Scott, Drops of War, Uma Gumma's Nightmare, Sky Harbor Phantom, Super Unknown. Good things are on the way...

ASR starts recording in 3 weeks, so we're just rehearsing and jamming in the meanwhile. We're going to Burlington, Vermont for a week as a band and having a "song writing sesh retreat", making sure everything is good to go when we do start recording... Alex is trying to get us a Burlington gig at a local venue for maybe an acoustic set or something. And we're booked to play the Hotckiss jamfest sometime in the late spring (date and time are still being worked out). The Concord High show is happening sometime in the next 6 weeks...basically, we'll be playing a ton of shows this spring. We'll post some more songs as they come along as well...We also got Malcolm Eaton (also the guitarist for Shaken Majesty, who are opening for us at the KUA battle of the bands) to be our producer/sound engineer for the LP. Good things are on the way. Keep the good karma coming...
