THE ALBATROS PROJECT

The Albatros Project is an Oxfordshire based prog-rock group that was formed in the summer of 2005. The two main members are Aly Kennedy and Grant Fletcher. Aly is the lead vocalist and guitarist for band Scarlett Fever and Grant is lead vocalist and drummer for band Granted. Through these two bands giging together, on more than one occasion, Aly and Grant came to admire eachother spark and talent and decided to bring their creativity together for some song writing sessions. The Albatros Project has gained itself a firm identity and live Grant and Aly add Nick (bass) and Christian (keys) of Scarlett Fever, Sebastian (guitar) of Granted and Jessica (cello), to the line up. Grant and Aly are in the studio working on tracks almost every day and there style often leans a lot on the guitar riffs created by Aly. With Aly's often haunting voice and Grants love for rythm they make a great team that is on its way forward. The independently released full-length album Turn Again Lane was released on the 6th of May and Albatros have already had great feedback from listeners.
