Members: Matt Charles, Brandon Kent, James "Jolly" Perez, Richard Castillo, Anthony "Junie" Washington
Tera Ferna is an indie-folk-rock band that began as the solo project of singer/songwriter Matt Charles. With the addition of Brandon Kent on jazzy bass and James “Jolly†Perez shredding on lead guitar the group became a solid band. Richard Castillo came roaring in on keys with Anthony “Junie†Washington keeping it tight in the pocket behind the drum kit.
All the members matured individually as artists after several years of playing in various local and touring bands throughout the highly cultural music scene of Texas and the rest of the country. Tera Ferna is the result of these talented musicians blending their eclectic styles together successfully to create a fresh and powerful sound straight out of the Alamo City.
