Ten Year Scar, with members in their mid twenties, came together in the fall of 2004 with a love for music and self expression. From their first live show on, they gave their listeners what they wanted - passion, energy and raw emotion, proving that hardcore and metal music is, most certainly, still something to be reckoned with. The individual musical styles and talents of this four-piece group mesh to produce a sound that is driving, aggressive and infectious, tightly woven, with a definite groove. Sharp drums, solid and intricate guitars, a pronounced and almost funky bass line, topped by soul splitting vocals and poetic lyrics give Ten Year Scar their signature style. They attract listeners and fans from all walks of life. Due to their unique sound, commanding stage presence, and outgoing, down to earth personalities, They have gained friendships, respect and praise wherever they've played. An extremely hardworking and devoted band, Ten Year Scar has preformed almost nonstop since their formation, playing live shows in Virginia, Maryland, Pennyslvania and West Virginia to responsive audiences. With members living in both Winchester, VA and Martinsburg, WV the dream to play all over the east coast is possible. The guys in Ten Year Scar thrive on the energy of playing live, it truly allows them to use their experiences and interactions as fuel for their creativity, and has only served to strengthen the sense of family and friendship that exists between them.
