The new instrumental I have posted is called "Welcome to Cinemechanica" and it's a tribute to my favorite Athens band Cinemechanica. I recorded all the guitars and bass myself and my friend Chris did the drums. I feel it's important for people to revere the music idols and geniuses of yesteryear, but they should not forget that history is being molded as we speak and there are certain individuals that rise above the rest and make very valid musical statements. After all, some of the greatest music created in the sixties and seventies was inspired by the musicians' peers and local groups that played in small clubs. With that said, thanks Cinemechanica (www.cinemechanica.com) as well as other groups like We Vs. The Shark, Tin Cup Prophette, and Facing New York who are doing something new.
