Tappens Sideproject is the brainchild of Ryan McCombe, drummer for the Yonkers punk band A Days Demise (formerly, Bad Connexion), exposing his lighter side and preferred styles of music. Working under the alias of Greg Tappens from the beginning, his music has been shaped by a number of artists whose works are mostly unknown or uncared for in the teenage world, including The Ventures, The Beatles, Buddy Holly, and lesser known The Villains of Verona, The Skyriter, and Dorian Minor.
