Original 2 piece grunge/rock/punk band from Long Island NY.
Formed in May of 2004, Tang Moat was a gritty, stripped down, melodic rock power-duo consisting of Germaine Appel on drums/vocals, and Randy Pike on guitar/vocals. Recording an e.p. in October of 2004, which has now come to be known as "The Lost E.P.", the band went on to play a few shitty shows, and two very memorable gigs at the famous Luna Lounge, and the legendary CBGB's.
With the intolerable wait for the e.p. in its original form to be properly mixed and mastered, the band broke up in 2005, and moved on to other things. Now, in 2007, "The Lost E.P." has finally been given its proper due and respect, and will finally be released on iTunes. 6 songs of harmonically induced, brutal garage fun. 2 people, guitar and drums, boy and girl. Amazing.
