All kidding aside, life can sure be tough sometimes, but if I can make a difference in one person's life through my music then its all worth it.....tomorrow always brings a new day, a new start, a brand new opportunity to tell the ones close to you how much they mean to you, you may never have another chance....Life's too short to live in the past, and be tied down with the painful memories of those who have hurt us...

Well my latest attempt has been posted...one of my all-time favorite songs. Really a beautiful song by Jimmy Eat World, and I hope I did it justice and expressed some of the pure emotion that the original conveys. A definate thanks to my friend Shandra for help on the female vocal parts..much appreciated.
What is this song about you ask...well after some research I think I finally figured it out. The song is about Carli Allen, a woman who ran the Weezer fan club. She would provide a place to stay for bands that were playing in a town where they knew no one, hence "There's noone in town I know, you gave us someplace to go." She died in a car accident on the way back from a Weezer concert...She would always say "hear you me." Thats the background on the song. Now you know.
Well, I'm off to listen to some Rise Against, who f-ing rock btw.

So I'm browsing the Pure Volume charts this morning and discover Taming the Girl charting in the Unsigned bands Emo, Acoustic, and Pop Punk top 100...after falling off my chair I had to do a double take to ensure it just wasn't just a hung over (and boy what a hang over it is...oy)halusination, and it wasn't...
Needless to say I am totally blown away....small and insignificant I know....but it means alot to me....after being fucked over by my old band the way I was..this small accomplishment is definatley bitter sweet. ..it really means alot on this fine day. Fuck them ... and now I have all that much more motivation for TTG to make further strides in 2007...
I look forward to making more music in 07..music that doesn't sugar coat things...and tells it how life can really be sometimes...

Check out Bloody Memory..posted today.
It's a song I wrote about the worst and darkest day of my life....this song brings out some of the emotions I was feeling on that rock-bottom day....a day where it all almost ended....but I was strong enough to rise above it all....and you are too...trust me.

NEW fucking song up...great song by tbs....love the band ...love the song....powerful lyrics about a girl that ruins your life... ..happens to all of us...fucking sucks...fucking hurts, bad...real bad... but songs like this help us to move on ...and who knows..as she goes from guy to guy..hurting everyone in her path...maybe one day she'll be the one on the outside looking in...hurt, confused, and alone....or maybe not, maybe the age old adage of nice guys finish last really is true....and at the end of the day the power of music is really all we have.....not knowing, i guess thats why we live life...and take all the shit that comes our way in stride.

Well, I'd really like to take a moment to thank everyone whose been supporting me. Ya I'm totally new to the whole singing thing, but doing my best, and its really encouraging to see 30 plays...thanks so much ... this very very small accomplishment motivates me and makes me want to work so much harder and thing beautiful thing called music.....
