Talk Sick was formed by Lorenzo Miranda AKA Lomi and Apa Aldaba with late drummer Turon Del Rosario in the streets of Malolos City. Starting with covers from late punk bands like NOFX and Descendents, they added their youngest member Rashid Almonajed for his skills on shredding the guitar. Replacing Turon Del Rosario was Nowell Tubongbanua, the newest and eldest on the crew, he pounds the drums so fast that it gave the band a large leap from other bands.
They were influenced by Punk and Hardcore Bands that pushed them to start making their own music. With songs combining the Punk and the Hardcore Genre, their compositions are rarely heard or are uncommon with the scene. Adding a pinch of SKA, Hip-Hop, and Metal on their songs, their hardcore style of music is still to be heard.
Making music has been their passion, dream, and seeing other people listening to their music motivated them to make more. We look up on the pioneers of Hardcore and Punk Music here in Bulacan, and we are the next generation to be on their paths. We are a 100% free band. We do this because we want this. We want to stay underground. Support the underground scene. We don't want to be famous, we don't want to be on top, we just want to make friends in the scene. And no one can stop us.
