Take 21 members, Chris Bancroft (Guitar/ Vocals), Michael Holmes (Vocals/ Guitar), Andrew Sax (drums) and Jordan Bergman (Bass/Vocals) have created a band known for their energetic, live performances.

Formed at the beginning of 2005 for their schools annual battle of the bands competition, Take 21 have now all graduated and are hitting the Australian music scene with a bang. Their influences are drawn from the Indie and Rock persuasions. Take 21 have recently finished recording at Blackbox Studios, with Jeff Lovejoy (Powderfinger, Regurgitator and Resin Dogs) and triple A.R.I.A. award winning producer, Magoo. The E.P. was then mastered at Sterling Studios in Los Angeles, by Justin Shturtz (Fall Out Boy, My Chemical Romance).

At the beginning of 2007 Take 21 featured on SEA FMs national radio show The Local playing an acoustic track live from the above E.P.

Since this young bands success with the March support for Fall Out Boy at the Brisbane Convention Centre, they have accomplished many other feats. With regular promo columns in Brisbanes top music mag, Rave Magazine, including a half page spread and front page appearance, Take 21 has also featured in MX Magazine and Time-off. In addition to this, the band has performed live interviews for, and received air-time on several local radio stations.

These accomplishments were endorsed with the announcement of the support for Canadian rockers Billy Talent at the Arena, Fortitude Valley Brisbane on 24 April 2007. Since then Take 21 has toured Australia with The Used during May, 2007 on their Lies for the Liars promotional tour. This endeavour prompted a nation-wide following for the band particularly in Melbourne and Sydney.
