In the spring of 2004, the launch of Tailor Made Fable was undertaken by Mike Normand (guitar / vocal) and Remi Chasse (guitar / vocal). The echo of their guitars quickly got to the ears of P-E Beaudoin (drums / vocal) and Matt Boulanger (bass / vocal), prompting the four of them to join together to start a band. In only one jam session, the guys realized that something serious was coming to life. Tailor Made Fable was born.


In December 2004, TMF came out of the fog. The release of their first 4- track EP (auto-produced) did not go unnoticed to the ears of Quebec's punk rock scene. The band rapidly caught the attention of local media, landing live gigs in bars and all-ages clubs all over the province. The summer of 2005 is marked by the band's first tour; Destination: The Maritimes. The plan was simple - cross Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and P.E.I, returning back to Quebec to lend their experience to a collection of new songs.


In April 2006 TMF's full length (also auto-produced), If We Didn't Set the Dream High Enough, is released. The band's evolution is evidently audible, catchy rock melodies are blended with a drive for experimentation and musical depth. Acoustic guitars provide the backdrop for a unique take on musical arrangements. A tour of Ontario in the summer of 2006 helps the band to promote this new material. Tailor Made Fable is growing up, still looking forward.


As fall 2006 approaches, TMF is looking for new collaborations. The band works on the creation of 4 new songs under the supervision of producer Oliver Haze (Wandering Trip, 2001), who motivates the band to fully explore their potential as songwriters. Also joining the project is highly acclaimed Vancouver producer/engineer Mr. John Webster who assists with mixing and mastering. After four months of intense and productive work, the EP is released in early 2007. TMF has found his path, his artistic signature. Acoustic rock with hellish pop accents!


In September 2007, good news are still pourring in. Ahead of four others talented bands, TMF won the first prize of , wich was held in Quebec City. In august 2008, the band will travel to England to be on stage at the Mathew Music Street Festival in Liverpool. Meanwhile, TMF signed a recording deal with VivaMusik Records. The release of their debut album is schedule in autumn 2008.


Since they started, Tailor Made Fable has never set limits on their artistic development. Any obstacles met along the way have only contributed to a stronger union and a more defined personality. You can hear it and see it - the band is motivated and ready to build momentum! Now, it's time to see what the future has in store...
