Draussen Krieg, Zerstoerung, Ungerechtigkeit, Innen Wut, Angst, Hass, Schmerz. Dass diese Dinge unsere Welt und uns bestimmen, muessen wir immer wieder erkennen. Aber dies ist nicht das Ende

Gott kommt in unsere zerstoerte Welt - jeden Tag neu.

Dieser Glaube an einen Gott, der die Welt nicht aufgibt, sondern liebt, schenkt die Hoffnung, die uns hilft, immer wieder aufzustehen, den guten Kampf weiter zu kaempfen und uns nicht geschlagen zu geben.

Diese Gespaltenheit zwischen Zerstoerung und Hoffnung, zwischen Hass und Liebe spiegelt sich in unserer Musik wieder.

Doch eines ist sicher:
"Am Ende aber bleiben Glaube, Liebe und Hoffnung. Doch die Liebe ist die Hoechste unter ihnen."
1.Korinther 13, Vers 13

On the outside: war, destruction, injustice...
On the inside: anger, fear, hatred, pain...

These things ruling our world and ourselves drives us mad. But it's not the end. It is God coming into this broken world. God - not giving up the world but loving the world - gives us hope to rise again and to keep on fighting the good fight of faith.

This gap between destruction and hope, between hatred and love is the characteristic feature of Swordcut's sound and lyrics.

But one thing is for sure: "And now these three things remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love." 1 Corinthians 13, 13
