Sweet Hollow Drive could be the friendliest band you have ever met. In fact it is this quality indeed that helped to form the band's strong bond. Hailing from every corner of Long Island, this pop-rock group consists of Alex Glover (Vocals/Bass), Danny Ensanian (Drums), Mikey Molloy (Vocals/Guitar) and Rob Nolan (Guitar/Synth). Forming their current line up in the summer of 2007, the band immediately began work on their first full-length album entitled "The Perfect Blue" later released in Fall 2008. The album displays the band's many influences, containing a variety of catchy, melodic tunes; something for everyone. Influences would include, but are certainly not limited to other pop/rock bands such as Relient K, Anberlin, and The Friday Night Boys. SHD is always continuing to evolve and perfect their direction. We will be able to witness a new pop-filled, genuine set of tunes in May 2010 on the new EP entitled "Stop, Drop, & Eggroll."

Sweet Hollow Drive has had the honor of sharing the stage with national acts such as The Ataris, Patent Pending, Stereo Skyline, We Shot The Moon, and Holiday Parade. Performing and touring lets SHD develop the most wholesome relationships with fans, both old and new. "Touring is a whole new and wild experience," drummer Danny Ensanian explains "where you'll have the worst and most awkward things happen to you, yet selling a CD to a new fan instantly makes everything better." Whether you see Danny and Alex behind the merch table talking with new fans or Rob and Mikey showing off their equipment to young and aspiring guitarists, the relationships with fans is what drives bands like Sweet Hollow Drive to keep moving forward.

As for the next 12 months, Sweet Hollow Drive will continue to tour through summer 2010 with their friends in Nemes from Massachusetts. Equipped with a new 12-passenger tour van, these boys will be ready for some serious traveling. Together, the two groups are aiming to book their first semi-national tour with stops from Portland, to Chicago and down to Miami. Supporting the earlier mentioned "Stop, Drop, & Eggroll" EP, SHD is indeed looking to make a solid impression on anyone and everyone willing to listen. When the band has a few CD's lying around the van, it means it only means that its time to hit up the nearest mall and shove a set of ear-buds into a new fan's ears.
