Every artist needs a release. In my case, I was in the final semester of college completing my thesis back in 2003. And all the emotion, pressure and the hype of completing my study then getting ready to pass it on to the real world has led me to someway of creativity. Songs and words just came to me. So I just had to write them, then with my little knowledge of home recording, I record them one by one on my pc, with all the help of the boys.

The whole process started with me jamming on my guitar, catching tunes and compiling the lyrics. Then I would borrow the boys guitars and bass to record it on my pc, and then finalized it with the drum tech of MTV Music Generator. The idea is to make a catchy rock tunes, then I get the inspirations by listening The All American Rejects self titled debut album and Room on Fire by The Strokes.

Since Im only good on playing drums, so I would ask the boys help on some tracks that I find it difficult to do and that they could do it and make it better. Then I take the responsibility of producing, balancing and mixing. However, tracks are not mastered yet.

The project ended in February 2004, with ten tracks of the so called In the Universe LP.
