StillSpeaks was formed in 2002 to pursue a passion for the Lord and for music. Guitarist/vocalist Dave Rossing says "We want to play music that rocks, but we also want to be real with people about what God has done in our lives." The bands lyrics are reflective of this and are very personal. Some of the songs deal with topics such as feeling lost and lonely in this world, While others praise God for His amazing qualities. The bands members came from all parts of the country (Ohio, Minnesota, Washington) to form this 3-piece band. "We have all come from different backgrounds, but have found a common bond in our friendship, purpose in life, and love for music." The bands influences are broad, ranging from classic to hard rock, but the fusion lands largely on modern rock. From the grinding guitars on By Yourself to the dynamics of You Arise, the band stays in the rock genre, yet appeals to fans of other genres. StillSpeaks also has much musical experience besides songwriting to bring to the table including proficiency with multiple instruments, music recording, working at a radio station, and worship leading. The members of StillSpeaks are Dave Rossing (Electric Guitar/Vocals), Dave Rychart (Bass/Vocals) and Jesse Bearce (Drums/Vocals).
