I play sounds that unify my soul with my mind and heart. Feeling the vibrations of the guitar on my chest, emptying my lungs toward the heavens, is as much sustenance as I need. Why do I do music? This is what makes me feel human. I was born half a man, of which music fills the rest. I accept myself as a spark and music as my fuel. I feel more at home with sound waves than with my blood relation. It has raised me to become a man, more than any father could have done. It is my father, and my mother, my sister, and my brother.
