Steve Joao
Steve Joao is young solo acoustic artist. His music resembles such artist such as Chris Carabba of Dashboard Confessional but his lyrics sound more like bands like Taking Back Sunday and Straylight Run. At 15 he's already shared the stage with such bands as Zolof the rock & roll destroyer, Marigold, Separation Anxiety, Beneath it all, Big City Skyline, In Transition, Overise, New kind of Conflict, Viral, and Once tried. He's planning on playing many more shows and plans to add full band with him sometime in the future. With his emotional lyrics and acoustic guitar sound his music should keep improving. A goal of his is to record a demo with all of his songs he has written very soon. A quick note for those at the Zolof show he was known as My Personal Loosing Streak but kickly changed his name back to his name. He recorded a two song demo in his friend Gary Ljunquist of Flooded Sundays basement. The two songs recorded were "The Sequence" and "Undetermined Still". The demo was produced on 4/21/05 and 4/22/05.
