Welcome to the new StereoKast page!!
My newest stuff will be posted here so be sure to check back for updates:)
I began the stereoKast project in the fall of 2005 as a way to add more creative elements to my film productions by creating my own soundtracks.
With almost unlimited access to Clarkson Universitys A/V Lab and recording studio, I began experimenting with sounds, beats, and basic loops.
Initially constructing soundtrack "tracks" for class projects to avoid copyright issues, I was able to learn the audio production process first hand. The experience taught me how to assemble different components of a song from start to finish, creating a final product.
Looking back, the first beats and instrumentals I produced make me cringe because they're so simplistic and relatively unattractive ;)
These basic sounds matured into a slightly improved group of nameless tracks with catchy beats which I eventually titled:
-InStudio-
My interests continued expanding within my major, and without realizing at first, a new passion developed, and a new door was opened.
The stereoKast project was born.
