WE'LL BE IN STUDIO BY FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 9, TO RECORD OUR FIRST EP

State of the Art est un groupe Rock/Progressif possedant une petite touche Metal, influence par les Grands du progressif comme Rush et Dream Theater. Forme en 2005, le groupe tente d'amener de nouvelles ideologies musicales au rock contemporain. S.O.T.A. se caracterise par des harmonies recherches ainsi que des structures rythmiques complexes tout en y incluant depouillement et virtuosite. Le demo ecoutable est beaucoup plus simple et ''pop'' que les autres compositions de la formation. Son enregistrement est tres, tres maison.

State of the Art is a band from Daveluyville/Victoriaville influenced by Rush, Dream Theater and many other progressive rock and metal bands. The group has been formed in may 2005. Jerome Gagnon became the singer last fall. They try to bring some great music ideas to the new rock. S.O.T.A. has a unique sound and style mixing rare harmonies, complex rythmic structures and vituosity. They hope to record a professionnal demo soon this summer. Leftovers has been recorded with homemade technique and really bad material so don't be too severe.
