Statelman has withstood the test of time in the NJ music scene with
all the trials and tribulations that come along with it. The band
has finally found their place in the pop-punk world with their current
line-up of Megan DiGuilio (vocals), Dan OâConnor (back-up
vocals/guitar), Tim James (Bass), and the new additions of Jon Stolpe
(guitar) and Donny Saraceno (drums). The bandâs essence and energy
can be felt through every song and live performance. As they perform at
New Jersey
venues they have earned the attention of fans looking for
something they could relate to. Statelman attracted the attention of New Jersey-based Danimal
Records and quickly signed.
Statelman has toured along the east coast and has been featured at
festivals like Get Heard Fest and the Union
County Music Festival. The band continues to play shows all
over the Northeast with notable bands like: Saves the Day (Vagrant
Records), The Ready Set (Sire Records), Just Surrender (Razor and Tie),
Person L (Human Interest Records).
Statelman will
continue to record and is embarking on a summer tour to support their new
music. The band plans to continue making music that resonates with
people looking for something special. In the years to come, Statelman
is going to continue working to put on their incomparably energetic and
entertaining live shows, while putting out music that tries to build on
the past and push forward into something new.
Statelman is set
to release their singles âBack Against the
Wallâ and âHit The Road Quickâ in December, which
was produced by John Collura (The Ataris) and Paul Carabello. This
isnât the last time you will hear of Statelman and their music. Keep
an eye out for more upcoming events that they will be apart of.
