Shortly after, SGD opened for American Idol-er Chris Daughtry. While producing the initial batch of songs, SGD offered visitors to its MySpace page a look into the creative process via video clips of the band in the studio. Through those snippets, and in just a few months, the band amassed a fanbase of more than 13,000 MySpace friends without ever posting a song. SGD tunes are currently playing throughout Buckle retail stores nationwide via DMX Music The band spent several months on the Top 20 singles chart on AlternativeAddiction.com, which is one of the largest websites dedicated to Alt Rock, serving the 18-24 year-old crowd. Radio giant ClearChannel is currently streaming SGD tracks on its New Music site.
