Stand Your Ground has shared the stage with Haste The Day(solid state records) David Melillo (drive-thru)Cute Is What We Aim For (Fueled By Ramen) Rookie of the Year (oneEleven) War of Ages (strikefirst/facedown) and many other national acts.
Post Hardcore, Emo, Screamo, whatever you might want to call us. Who can even tell these days? Amidst all the debates about who's in what genre, Stand Your Ground wants to be about two things. First and Foremost, we're about Jesus Christ. After that, we're all about having fun, and hoping you guys have fun with us. Bands we might remind you of would be somewhere in a blend of UnderOath, Dead Poetic, Emery, etc... We love performing, and the energy we put into it is sure to get you moving.
Our new cd will be dropping in May on Harvest Earth Records and will be titled, "Open Eyes and Beating Hearts" It will feature a few re-recorded tracks and about 8 brand new ones.
we'll also be doing a cd release tour for support, followed by a month long tour *hopefully* followed by a few festival appearances along the east coast.
so, keep a look out for new music on the myspace and play some of the old songs we've got up, or download them because we'll be taking them off once we get the new songs back from the studio.
