Stablemate is the musical vehicle for myself, Zach Burt. I'm 18 years old and I grew up in a small town in Massachusetts and have been writing songs since I was 14. My influences include Ryan Adams, Bright Eyes, Iron and Wine, Pedro the Lion, The Arcade Fire, Bruce Springsteen, Elliot Smith, Bob Dylan, Okerville River, Sufjan Stevens, Death Cab for Cutie, The Decemberists, Radiohead, Willie Mason, and The Flaming Lips. The recordings that you hear are all written and recorded by myself out of my home. I Hope to have my EP: Old Bones out by the end of summer 2007, but we'll see.
