Hey guys...Split Fifty is finally entering the studio to begin telling our story "Swing From Her Fingernails." We are going to be recording the rest of the songs for the record which we started a year ago ( to add onto the 3 we finished...swing from her fingernails, kiss the corpse, and rooftops and razorblades)
We are going to be at Soundmine Recording studios in Bushkill for the next 3 weeks and when we emerge the most amazing masterpiece to grace this earth will be with us. So be ready.. we will be posting studio updates, maybe some photos... and if your real lucky a video or two..
The record is scheduled to be released and available THIS JULY... EVERYWHERE! you livei n Alaska you say? no problem you will be able to get it~!! cant wait for you guys to hear this.....

Split Fifty has signed to management with Jamey Jasta and Mark Viera from devastation media. Jamey is best know as the singer of hardcore sensation "HATEBREED" and also as the Host of "MTV'S Headbangers Ball" We just know him as "cupcake" (clearly kidding) We are very happy with this latest move in management. jamey and mark have been amazing to us and will be greatly helping us achieve our goals as we move forward.
LABEL STUFF: YES: Split Fifty has been offered Multiple recording contracts before and following our showcase in february, from various labels thanks to you guys and your awesome support! Out of them all, Dave Crisafi and Eulogy were our favorites from the indie labels however it just didnt work out for us to sign with them. We are however speaking everyday to two lables that we are hoping to work with, our record will be out this summer and we will be wrapping this label stuff up really soon! Thanks for all your patience. Just to clear the air... We chose not to accept some of those offers for creative reasons, and we admire and respect all of the above mentioned companies, anything else you have heard is bullshit.
Split fifty has been confirmed for Warped Tour 07 on various stages from July 18th-August 10th
Split Fifty has also been confirmed to play the great bamboozle at giants stadium in early may.
Split Fifty will be co headlining Shermapalooza on May 25th in our hometown of stroudsburg pa at the sherman theater. This will be our last hometown appearance until fall 07. Rumored to be headlining is Bayside.

Hey so its been a while since ive "Blogged" (got i hate that word) But i figured its time to update all you lovely people what the band is up to!
If you havnt noticed due to poor visual skills SPLIT FIFTY has been confirmed for this years VANS WARPED TOUR! Go back to our myspace page to check out what exact dates. Were going to be playing some new cities this year so were extra stoked.
In other news we are also confirmed to Co-headline this years SHERMAPALOOZA! in Stroudsburg and will also be making an appearence at the GREAT BAMBOOZLE festival at Giants Stadium.
and the biggest question we get... as for our new record "SWING FROM HER FINGERNAILS".... It is finished being written and demo recorded. Now its time to hit the Studio and lay the final tracks and get this bad boy finished. All i can promise you guys is that it will be WELL worth the wait! We will be announcing the release date (dont worry its much sooner than you think!) and label soon!

Well as some of you may or may not know the band is currently writing the script for their new production aptly entitled "Swing From Her Fingernails"
This will be the follow up to 2004's "We Live Forever." Im sure you all feel as we have been feeling very anxious to finally get your hands on the new record. But PLEASE be patient. The actors are warming their voices and the ink is not yet dry on the script. We assure every one this show will be one that will dazzle and bewilder you (and rock your face off at t he same time)
The band will be taking some time off after our WAIDESTOCK appearance in our home town of Stroudsburg in October w/ Lit, Matchbook Romance, Bayside, Boys Night out, etc.. and we will be locking ourselves under the stage to write and record our new record. There will not be any live performances until the record is completely written and finished being recorded. (although i have been known to lie and you might catch us out from time to time) Once the label who will be releasing this production is announced and the record is ready to release the band will be embarking on numerous tour dates and hitting all of their favorite spots including but not limited to Cleveland, Atlanta, Washington DC, Baltimore, Pittsburg, Rodchester, Allentown, Stroudsburg, Boston and tons more cities! f you would like your town to be added to the list please feel free to send us a message and les us know.
