The Sparkle Of Hope collective consists out of five individuals who share this collective since the summer of two thousand. Throughout the past years and all the changes that came along they finally found their selves a steady line-up they feel comfortable with, as well as persons as musicians. With their passionate interest in hardcore and (heavy) metal, the process of songwriting began. Mainly influenced by bands such as Darkest Hour, As I Lay Dying, Still Remains and even bands such as Iron Maiden, they developed their own unique sound as a band.

In October and November 2005 they headed out to record their official debut full-length called 'it's calculated murder!'. The result is a 10-track album containing full on mosh, emotional driven hardcore with lots of breaks and a whole lot of guitar-shredding. Some special features on their full-length are that it's mastered in America at West West Side by Alan Douches, known for his work with The Black Dahlia Murder, Atreyu, Every Time I Die and Unearth.

After 3 years they're back with a brandnew album which will be released on Funtime Records again! The album called 'Light the torches' was recorded at Split Second Sound Studios and produced by Textures guitarplayer Jochem Jacobs. Be on the lookout when this baby hits the stores in May '08!
