NEW SOUND & FURY ALBUM OUT JUNE 24TH 2008!
We're fresh off our tour with Sum 41 in Canada & the UK. Our new album is
due June 24th via Rebel Youth Records/MRI-RED Distribution.
"I've had a lot of crazy experiences and rowdy times," recalls SOUND
AND FURY singer/songwriter, Luke Metcalf. "I mainly write about when I was
in high school and then afterward, when I was living homeless with the gutter
punks in California.” "Right from the start I knew exactly what I wanted
when I wrote the music and lyrics for this album,” continues Metcalf. “I
wanted to make a killer rock album to party your ass off to...an album to let
loose, leave all the bulls**t behind and run wild to.
When I hit high school I went totally out of control. It was just a rampage of
crazy partying. At the time, I was incredibly pissed off and f**ked up because
I was dealing with a lot of really harsh s**t...but I decided: "f**k it all...I'm
gonna have some f**king fun"... and I managed to have a hell of a lot of
fun. I made some really great friends and had some really wild times and this
is what the album is all about." In hooking up with guitarists Daz and Griffin,
bassist John Kerns, and drummer Chris Avalos, Metcalf has found the band to play
the music he lives to create.
Confirmed track listing for 'SOUND AND FURY'.
1. SCHOOL'S OUT

So we’re back in Canada!!
We made the most of our 2 days off in Halifax to relax, rejuvinate and reflect on the UK mission. Epic.
So far the shows here have been totally kick ass.
We boarded our tour bus in Halifax and claimed our bunks...band gets priority...of course haha! ;)
Seriously though on that note I would like to give a firm shout out to our awesome crew on this tour.
Seth our Tour Manager is THE MAN! nuff said.
Paul Tozer our FOH Sound guy has been smashing it every night, Cheers man.
Christian, our main man! We would be lost without you bro. "love your work..."
Damon & Kari...guitar/drum tech professionals, all round top dudes. It’s a pleasure guys!! "Insiiiide"
Dopp, our legendary bus driver...if only you could see this guy in action. Top Brass.
First show was in Moncton. A nice small, intimate room, kudos and shouts to all of you who braved the cold and snow to line up and get in early!! Moncton was a lot of fun, we had a few technical shimmys that needed to be ironed out but that is expected as we adjusted to new backline equipment.
First show with Social Code, they seem like cool dudes.
All in all a good time was had by all in Moncton.
Next night back in Halifax to rock out with all the rad people we met over the past few days. Shouts to all the staff at the Prince George Hotel. You exceeded the extra mile on numerous occasions...many thanks!
Hooked up with our new street teamers Kaitlyn, Nicole and Nick. These guys are super cool and its great to have them on the road with us. Keep up the awesome work guys!
We loved Halifax...there’s a super friendly vibe about the place and we met so many cool peeps, I look forward to spending more time there in the future. It was SO nice to be by the ocean again...I miss it dearly.
Onwards to Trois-Rivieres, QC. It was a long haul but we managed to get Tiger Woods Golf working on the playstation in the front lounge so the kids were entertained. Chris is dominating at the mo, tech-niiiiique...followed closely by John "The Creep" Kerns...sitting comfortably on 12-. I’m working my way up slowly....watch this space.
Trois-Rivieres was fun, small crowd but you guys were very vocal which is always a good time. We left straight after the show and headed to Montreal for a few drinks and wind down. We had a day off the next day so Griffin, John, Luke and I headed out for a couple of beers...super sexy time.
Enjoyed the day off, Christian and I hit the gym and sauna then a stroll through the city. I love Montreal...another city with that vibe factor we were talking about...and it has to be noted, there are some very beautiful girls here.
Last nights show at Metropolis was absolutely off the hook.
The crowd and atmosphere in the room last night was unreal. Sold out show, amazing venue, WE LOVE MONTREAL!!...we met so many cool people after the show
We feel truly humbled and blessed to be doing this.... Thanks so much for the support from all of you...spread the word so we can come back sooner than later!! That goes for everyone...everywhere...................all the time. ;)
Revolutions and Riffs. CHEERS!!

You sound really first-wave punk - really cool. It's a
bit surprising because you look like you could be a
hardcore band but then you've got this sweet 70's punk
sound.
