Psalm 92 reads, What a beautiful thing, God, to give thanks, to sing an anthem to you, the High God! To announce your love each day break, sing your faithful presence all through the night.
Im sure that King David was actually doing this every morning; this was the first thing to do on his daily list. And that of course because he loved Gods presence so much that he just could not begin his day to day life without coming before his great Lord and worship him. Once he experienced the sweetness of worship, he became addicted. He wanted Gods presence close to him everyday, although as the king of the empire, he could very well forgotten God and his will, but as I said before, once he tasted God, he just could not live his life without daily worship devotional time, his spiritual fuel.
We can take his example for our lives today. Your day at school, at work or wherever you go can be so blessed if you begin your day in the presence of God. Its so easy to start your day with your schedule and then switch from one thing to another and forget about taking time to worship your Creator, the Lover of your soul. And Im not talking here about a five-minute prayer. Im talking of something so much more than that.
Its the beauty of worship that brought Abraham up to the mountain to bow his face before the Lord and worship. As the Word says in Genesis, chapter 22, verse 5, On the third day he looked up and saw the place in the distance. Abraham told his two young servants, Stay here with the donkey. The boy and I are going over there to worship; then we'll come back to you. For this great man of faith there was nothing more important or more pleasant than to be in the presence of his glorious Lord, his closest friend. Even if he was about to bring his son as an offering to God. It was such a hard thing that God was asking, to bring his only son, the son he had waited for so long. But Abraham was confident that his God will not let him down, although at the time he didnt saw any solution for that matter.
I dont like to say this, but I feel that I have no choice. You cant experience the beauty of worship by spending 6 hours a day in front of the TV, playing computer games 5 hours a day, or working 24/7. It wont happen. Dont let your self down. Only by finding time to seek His face you will discover how sweet and peace bringing worship is.
If we look at Daniel we can see how precious his worship time with the Lord was for him. But lets look first at the background he was living in. He was brought to the kings palace to be tested, and if found worthy, to work for the king, to be a servant. (Daniel 1.3-5) Not by his own will was he brought there, no one seemed to ask him if he wanted that. He got a different name later on. And above all that he was thrown into fire to be burned along with his other friends because he didnt worship the kings god. So the time in which he lived was not the best time you can live in. But with all this he didnt give up his personal worship time. Even when the king asked everyone to worship no one else but him, Daniel was praying and worshipping God three times a day in his room. He knew this could cost him his life. But the sweetness of worshiping his God could not be compared to anything and could not be stopped by anyone. He was willing to renounce his own life for the sake of his worship time with his God, his best friend.
You have to be connected to heaven to be able to live the real beauty of worship. Your spirit has to have that connection with the Holy Spirit of God. Only then you can hear the sweet whisper of God telling you, I am here with you, I am here to bring you peace, to bring you hope in a desperate time.
Giving yourself to God, trusting him for all your problems and circumstances, that is what real worship is about, and you can see the beauty of it only when you completely rely on Gods help and accept Hes mercy.
I challenge you: dont keep this for yourself! If youve discovered the great blessing of spending time in Gods presence, dont be silent, tell your friends about it. Dont be ashamed, someday they will be grateful to you for that, and someday He will reward you for it.

Some people are so gifted and have so many talents that its even hard to start count them all. When God designed the human, he gave him life from his life. God made us to look like Him. When he pictured us, the first thing that inspired him the most was the Almighty God himself. He just couldnt find something else, or someone else for inspiration.
This means that every man and every woman has something from God inside. Every talent, every skill and every gift we have comes from him. Its there, living in us. In some it works, in some its still not alive or free. But the important thing that we all have to know is that The Gift Is There!
God gave you the perfect talent to serve and to help the people next to you. The way he made you like this is because in his great plan you have a special place, a place that can be filled only by the gifts and talents he already gave you. Only you can decide whether you let your talent be a blessing to those around you, or waste it.
Sometimes its hard to free yourself and begin to work for God with your gifts, but I have to bring something in our discussion, YOU ARE NOT ALONE! You have to keep this in mind every day. God is there next to you even when you feel left out, or not heard. Maybe he is testing your faith, and I can assure you the only reason he is testing you is to draw you closer to him, to make you see things through hes eyes.
Other times the resources may be few or poor. I think this should not stop you from doing what you were created to, from fulfilling your dream, your calling. We should always keep in mind our calling. Our calling is so much greater than us the most of the time, but it is that way because God wanted that. He wants to do with you things that are greater than you! He knows better why.
Maybe you ask yourself, Ok he knows better why, but what am I supposed to do?
I think we can talk here about faith. Faith is when you do the work of God, with passion, even when its not so easy, trusting him who knows what hes doing. Faith doesnt say I, I cant do that! the word of faith says, I can do everything through Christ who strengthens me!
Many find it very easy to talk about having faith in God, but when things are not always the way you want them to be, when troubles come, thats the time when your faith comes forward. Im sure many of you already know what Im talking about. Youve already been there. Sometimes it hurts, sometimes youre wounded, but you have to keep in mind something thats so much more important than all the pain and sorrows, the Holy Spirit is there to be your helper in that time of need. Just talk to him. Tell him what youre need is. Even if he already knows it.
Your faith and confidence in your Creator is what will keep you fresh everyday in your ministry, whether you lead worship, or serve in other way, dont forget that! Go on!
