Sononuna es una banda formada hace dos anos, que juega a experimentar con acentos afroperuanos, texturas electronicas y dinamicas de funk y jazz. Es una banda instrumental que encuentra espacios donde integrar sabores, matices, y ritmos de diversas latitudes.Sononuna toca para festejar, festeja para tocar.
Sononuna edito a finales del 2005 su primer EP titulado Son((o))nuna; en el 2006 el sello TDV publico un tema de la banda en su compilatorio "El Sonido del Jazz -Afro Jazz Peruano", siendo la banda mas joven en aparecer en dicho compilado. Actualmente la banda se encuentra en la composicion y grabacion de su primer disco de larga duracion.

Sononuna edited the first EP called Son((o))nuna at the end of 2005; in 2006 a song from the EP was included in the first CD of Afroperuvian Jazz anthology ever made in Peru by TDV Records. Recently the band is in the process of composition and recording for the first long play CD & for a reel).
