I know it must seem completely ridiculous and lame to most. Believe me, I have heard that a lot lately! I am not someone that is typically starstruck by an individual on TV. But when I first saw her about 6 months ago, I was undeniably starstruck! She is an amazing and beautiful person that has inspired an unbelievable amount of people with her charming personality and the occasional tear.
My goal for the past few months has been to at least meet her, and possibly give her a song that I wrote for her. A lot of people doubted that I would ever meet her and told me to let it go. But to be honest, adversity and the said impossible have always fueled my dreams. Plus, they make an incredible story! Despite overwhelming odds, my dream became a reality on July 27 2006, when I had the chance to personally give my song to the girl that has stolen my heart.
