This group of boys hail from the capitol of the Mid-West, Lincoln, Nebraska. So if youre reading this, youve probably already made up your mind about Something Various. But maybe its time to forget what you know or what you've been told. This quartet of friends used the last year to create really great songs for those who need really great music, by focusing their time, imagination, and yes, even anger into their songs. And no matter what label you put them in; the members of SV prove that they are more than a punk band, a rock band or whatever label you can come up with they are just a band that works hard to write great songs and put on a hell of a show!

Admittedly, a lot has happened since theyve started their journey in early 2004. To bring in the new year they added some new members to make SV--vocalist/guitarist- KJ Misek, Lead guitarist- Jake Tritz, drummer- Corey Lempka and bassist- Nick Caldwell. After the band wrapped up their first headline February of 2005, theyve spent their time writing every single day for the new shows and eventually what will be their first full-length album. After months of writing and pushing each other to the limit, it finally seemed to come together for them when they were signed on to Chromium Records, a label out of the UK. With them, SVs most popular song Perfect World was released on the radio and in stores in early March.

Something Various have a few surprises up their sleeves, be it the powerful guitar riffs or the cool and yet intricate drum and bass tracks, Our biggest concern will always be not letting our fans down, because, thats who this music is for. Theyll ultimately be the ones who make or break our band, not the music critics.

In the end, the band speaks best through their lyrics, and when it comes down to it, it's about friends making music for the people who enjoy it. So you decide.
