hello every one. we are planning a short summer tour but need help booking some dates in maryland, pennsylvania and new york. we'd love to play anywhere, house party or a show with other bands. just hit up a messege to us and we'll makeit happen.

there is a reason for not having alot of shows, we have been turning some down because we are back in the STUDIO!!!
thats right, Solace Sovay has a new line up and new songs already being recorded. A studio has been picked and a producer also. Lovely Joe Bloom will be producing, recording and mixing the new album, Matt Mills will be mastering it.
The new CD has yet to be titled but will consist of a "Single" that will be relased early with with 2 extra B-side songs. then a 5-6 song EP will be relased after that. Look for it around May.
Also a summer tour is in the making. only will be a week long. we are looking at the last week of June or 2nd week of July. we are willing to play anywhere, houses, basements, out side or an actual venue. we would love to play with local bands also.be sure to contact us if you can help us.

We just played at the Rock and Roll Hotel in Wachington DC and it was lots of fun. The stage was small but we made do and played well. We would like to thank alll that came out and the new fans we have gained.

Show tonight at the Coffe house in marshall. should be fun. Acoustic performance. new songs will be played.


Party tonight, should be amazing. Only the cool kids and dorks are going, (we are part of the dorks) i guess we play good tunes and we have friends in high places. New Material will be played tonight January 19th.

Tim, Zach and John are going to be taking a break from Solace Sovay for a while. Tim and Zach are both starting a rock band together and Tim would like to focus on writting songs and getting ready to perform under "All The Kings Men." All the Kings Men will be playing future shows with Solace Sovay also. John is going to give his band "Not Guilty" his primary focus. They are currently in the studio recording their first album with Tina Huges their newest member. Both "Not Guilty" and "All The Kings Men" are very VERY good bands and I look foward to playing with them more. Tim, Zach and John brought alot to Solace Sovay and I thank them for that and their musical presence will be missed. But Solace Sovay has a new line up and will continue.

Sam is coming home! Whos excited?

Show on friday in Berryvile. Check out our myspace for directions to the venue. it is going to be awsome. More shows are posted and more are being discussed.




Our show on November 18 is definitly not going to happen. It is way to unorganized and we don't feel like dealing with it. November 17 is definitly going to happen. it is going to be an awsome show. Everyone needs to come out. it is in Berryville and it is an hour away but it is defintly going to be worth it. a mangement company from fairfax is coming out to watch us also so we could use ur support. we will post the directions to the venue later.


Hey everybody, the Rock Break show that is coming up in January is supposed to be fun, but the flyer has some problems. The date on the flyer is Jan. 6/06 but it is supposed to say Jan. 6/07. It will be a new year, 2007. We didnt make that flyer and had no part in it but i heard it is being fixed now.



We just remastered one of our songs " Forced Impressions" we added some things to make it sound better and more full. We turned up some of the instruments so it sounds better then it did when we orginally released it. Some effects on the vocals were also added, we put an echo on it.
So should we post it on here? Who wants to hear it?

Show Friday in Middletown, about 44 miles away. Come if you can/want to, hopefully a bunch of kids from Middletown will show up. We've been asked to play a few shows for parties, so if you would like us to come play for you and your friends at a party just come talk to us. Thanks for the support!

So...The show with Tokyo Rose is this Friday. Everyone come!!! Its going to be huge. Its going to be good, we promise. Since Sam left we are having Zach's friend Tim come play with us on friday. Hes going to be playing Sam's parts. Hes only had a few days to learn and write the guitar parts. Hes doing great. Come support us and buy a cd!

Our new cd is done. We just got all 500 copies back from the publishing company. We are putting in the booklets and adding some finishing touches. We will be selling the cds at the Tokyo Rose show on the 11th. The album will cost $5. So please bring an extra $5 to the show to make a cd purchase. =] The new album is entitled "Another Sad Song in a Happy Place." The cd has 9 tracks on it.
