SOCIAL RESISTNCIA - banda de hardcore de Santos/SP, formada em meados de 2000 pelos ex-integrantes do DROP YOUR GUNS Rafael, Thiago e Rodrigo, em carater de projeto paralelo.
Com o decorrer dos ensaios o som foi ganhando consistncia e assumindo uma identidade, passando de projeto a banda, estando na estrada desde ento.

No mesmo ano, foi lanada a primeira demo da banda com 7 sons em K7, composta pela primeira formao (Rafael, Thiago, Rodrigo, Fábio e David).
Em 2001 foi lanado o nosso primeiro CD-Demo com 3 sons, contando com 2 integrantes novos (Andr e Nego), que fizeram uma breve participao.

Em seguida o SR se reformula com a entrada de Silas, Marcio, Gabriel, Leonardo e Paulo, dando origem ao novo trabalho gravado, o segundo Cd-Demo lanado pela Tosko Records com 5 sons em 2004. Com o entrosamento e bom andamento das coisas, logo aparece a participao na coletanea HARDCORE OR DIE! do selo peruano Fair Records, seguido de shows e fatores muito positivos pra banda.

Em 2005 a banda encerrava suas atividades por problemas internos, mesmo com a entrada do novo integrante Rodney que assumiu a guitarra nesse meio-tempo, permanecendo parada at 2007.
Porm em maio deste ano, o SR retorna s atividades com a volta dos dois integrantes da primeira formao (Thiago e David), e muito em breve teremos material novo na mo aguardem!!!

SOCIAL RESISTENCIA - Hardcore/Metal band from Santos/SP Brazil. We first started as a side project in the beginning of year 2000 by former members of "DROP YOUR GUNS" Rafael, Thiago and Rodrigo.

After some rehearsals, all the songs we created in this side project were getting stronger and stronger that at some point it couldn't be a simple side project anymore! Now we have been on the road ever since.

At the same year it was released our first Demo Tape which included 7 songs on it. All songs composed and created by the band's fisrt line up (Rafael, Thiago, Rodrigo, Fabio and David).

In 2001 it was released our first Demo-CD which included 3 songs on it, followed by our fisrt change in the band's line up (Andre and Nego joined the band) but their contribution was brief.

On the meantime, SOCIAL RESISTENCIA had a big change in the line up with the addition of Silas, Marcio, Gabriel, Leonardo and Paulo in replacement of some of the old band members. Following up, our new material the second Demo-CD came out by the label "Tosko Records" which included 5 songs on it.
By that time we had such a good chemistry within' the band that it granted us a slot in the "HARDCORE OR DIE" compilation from the peruvean label "Fair records". It also gave us the possibility to put up some more live concerts around the country.

Another change in the line up happened in 2005, Rodney taking over the guitar but it wasn't enough to put things back on track for us and we had to go on a 2 years hiatus caused by different opinions between the band members.

But fortunately in May 2007, "SOCIAL RESISTENCIA" finally came back! with the return of 2 former members of the first line up (Thiago and David) and soon we will release new material! Stay tuned!
