THE MISSION STATEMENT:
We are unrelenting intensity. We are an energy born from the angst of our youth combined with the fears and frustrations spoon fed to us daily by the media. We are the energy that swells in each and every one of us when we look upon the sad state of our humanity. We are the ones who fight back on a daily basis the urge to scream, to cry out "Where have we all gone wrong and what the fuck are we going to do to fix it!?" Of course this is an intense subject matter and will therefore require intense music. We will have to be unapologetically heavy in our sound and un-forgivingly ferocious in our advance. Our voice and the voice of all those who march alongside us will be heard. We are the new truth bent on hope and peace and the abolishment of hate and bigotry. We are Smilin Liar.

THE LIAR ARMY:
We are rooted in Minneapolis and it is from here that our first battle cry wailed out across the ears of a deaf public. But there were a few who heard. A few that took the time to listen to our message of change and saw the potential for a revolution. From these few an army was born. We are grateful for every fan. For we are simply the ones that play the instruments but it is your words and passion that writes the songs. It is you, the Liar Army, that have taken us from a distant battle cry atop the rooftops of our cold city and amplified us into 100 different radio stations across the country. Your screams have put us on a national TV show (Monster Garage, Discovery Channel). Your support has given us the strength to tour all around this country and open for countless national acts such as: 36 Crazyfists, Crash Romeo, On The Last Day, HedPE, Dead Poetic, Blindside and American Headcharge. It is you who have made us and will continue to make us who we are. We know that many will try to stop us but we also know that you will not let them!

THE FUTURE:
Those who oppose us. The ones on the outside looking in are now staring wide eyed with white knuckle fear. They know that this is only the beginning. They know our latest album, "So Mrs. Kennedy, How Was The Drive?" is an undeniable triumph for Smilin Liar and the Liar Army. They can see now that our efforts will never be in vein and that soon there will be nowhere to hide from our voice. Nowhere to hide from the new truth. Nowhere to hide from Smilin Liar.
