For awhile we had no luck in finding a name for our band. We were a little too rusty on cool names! But Slatherback was chosen in an odd but hilarious way. Caleb was at the beach and his Uncle Mike was there as well. Mike asked his wife to slather some sun tan lotion on his back. Mike's wife started to put the sun tan lotion on and suddenly said "you should find a woman to slather your back, not break it."So thats how Slatherback came to this bands life! Most of us are in college and drop outs. We dont have much practice time... But we try!
