Got a new demo up----There is another one on www.myspace.com/skylinebluemusic. Be a sport and check them out!
This is Andrew Osenga. We played with him a few months ago. He has been one of the biggest influences in my life. Check out this free single off his new album "The Morning".

What a ride!
I want to start this out by saying thanks to all of the people who have supported us over the years. You have been the reason why we have done this. Last night I talked to all of the guys and we have decided to hang up the towel. I have been doing Skyline Blue for 3 years now and have loved every second of it. It has given me so much joy, but it is time to move on.
Between work, school, and family we have just run out of weekends in the month. We have maintained a play schedule of about 5 shows a month. This has been a blast, and a lot of hard work. We have had a wonderful run of shows! We are just worn very thin by life.
I have never been in a band that was not torn apart by personal problems. This is not the case with SB. We all get along beautifully and are hoping that life allows us to be able to play together in the future.
We have been able to play with some very awesome people. (Andrew Osenga, Nick Flora, Coin Laundry Loser, More Than A Threat, Deas Viel, Sean Michel Band, Looks From Roslyn, and many others) These will be times that I will never never forget.
We have sold hundreds of CD's, and have been played on Spin 180 out of Dallas. We have played to many shows to count and have made tons of friends. It is really hard to give up something that you put so much of yourself into, but moving on is exciting.
I will take some time out now just to let you know what the everyone in the band will be doing.
Justin Smith is talking about putting together a ministry team and create new and exciting worship music. He will also be preforming with some other local talent.
Shane Jamison is going to take some time to be with his beautiful wife and daughter, before jumping back into the music.
Rachel McCauley is going to take some time off from music and work on going to grad. school. She will still appear with me when I play and will continue doing background vocals and piano in my music.
Justin Randolph will be helping me on some ideas that I have for a new prodject. He is aslo working full time for the River Campus Ministry.
And that leaves me----Jarred McCauley----I will be taking some time off from the rock scene and will be doing a solo singer- songwriter thing. I will keep you informed as to when I will be recording and playing shows. I am hoping for this project to be very chill. I will be hopefully recording by the end of the year and will let you know when this project is out.
I also would be remiss not to thank our beautiful families. Your love and support has been the cornerstone that has kept us going. Thank you for your sacrifice.
From the start we wanted this band to represent the love that we find in our God, families, and friends. I hope that you have found joy in being apart of the music.
Love hard and never forget that music is one of the greatest ways to channel the heart. Support your music scene!
Thanks again to all of you who have been so amazing to us. May God bless you and keep you.
Jarred McCauley

Tomorrow Rachel, Justin, and I depart on a mission trip to Guatemala (I don't know if that "e" should be an "a"). We are super pumped about this trip. Who knows maybe Justin and I could actually learn some beats while we are down there. I will try very hard to play "Tonight if your the one" to anyone who will hear it. Maybe they will get our music better then people here in the states (Samuel).
Please pray for us while we are down there---Last trip I got very sick and hope to not have that be a reacurring happening.
We want to show Jesus to people who don't know him as their Lord and Savior. We also want to worship with those who do know Him. I long and pray that the people we come in contact with would judge us by our hearts and not our U.S.A background. I want to see His kingdom come and His will be done, because I can't screw things up if that is the case. Pray that I will be wise in what I do and say. That nothing would cause offense or misrepresent my God.
God has changed me from being a lewd person recently. Pray that I would not fall into this trap again. I don't want to have an apperance of this world. 1 Peter says that if you can not tame your tongue then your religion is empty. I want holiness to follow me. Soloman said that whatever comes out of your mouth is in your heart. I used to laugh and say that things I did and said were out of fun. I now see that my heart had grown passive and dark. Wickedness was given praise through my mouth. Know that if you are a child of God that you can't hide these things. God will bring everything that is in darkness into the light. Everything! You cannot hide from the One who created us to be holy. The Word says that every tongue will bow and confess that He is God.
Doubt still plagues me. I still fall and sin. This no longer matters because I am in Christ Jesus. I repent and get up. I repent and move on. I repent and pray for others. I repent and read His Word. I repent and invest myself into my friends. I repent! In everything I pray that grace would follow. No more wasted time. No more filth reigning in my mouth and life.
I still say and think things that are not of God, but they are no longer chaining me down. I have found freedom from all things in Christ Jesus. I have revelation and wisdom by His Holy Spirit. In Christ nothing is wasted time. He works all things together to complete the good work started in me.
Thanks be to God! Thanks be to Jesus! Thanks be to the Holy Spirit!
Thanks to you for reading this rant. Please pray for this trip and pray for me.

Update:
Well we had an amazing time in Texas. We sold almost all of our merch. Everything just went awesome. We drove first to Austin, and then to College Station. The Austin show was one of best shows ever. We played with an amazing artist named Betty Sue. The College Station show was also wonderful. It was at a place called Camp Allen. There was about 100 people there. Mostly junior and high schoolers. They slow danced to Amy's Song. I laughed out loud in the mic. We froze our butts off!
Our last show was kind of a wash out. It was in Natchidoches, TX, at a place called Ritas. If you are a band---don't play there. The crowd was nice, but the owner screwed us on the door. I think we made $19. God was watching though---the people supported us and bought 6 or 7 cds.
Anyway, we are getting more shirts and we are also going to try to get stickers for this weekend. We are playing in Shreveport and Tyler--- We will be plying with Scott Hearne and The Big Positive in Shreveport. Don't miss it!
Have a good one. Be Safe
