Sistiana grew up in Molise, in a very musical atmosphere, listening to classical music with her aunts, a pianist and an opera singer.

At 3 years old, in 1984, she takes part in the 27° Zecchino d'Oro (Bologna) with the song "Ninna Nanna per Non Dormire", dueting with Luca Lombardi.

At 5 she begins taking private violin lessons, firstly with Assunto Nese and then with Osipov. After a few years she attends a violin and piano course at the Academy of Music L. Perosi in the city of Campobasso. Little by little she will leave behind the studying of violin to focus on singing.

In 1995 Sistiana starts playing the guitar, learning without a teacher and performs with several cover bands in the city of Pavia. She attends the opera and modern course of singing at the Institute "F.Vittadini" of Pavia with the opera singer Monica Bozzo. After that she goes on studying with the baritone Enrico Marabelli.

In 1998 she records her first demo with Panna & Cioccolato and the year after it's time for her first solo.
