Being different but staying true to yourself - you get caught between melancholy and optimism if you devote yourself to the sound of their music. These two notions go together hand in hand and leave behind a feeling of hope, in love as well as in life.
Sirupop has found its place and shines in between classic Britpop (Coldplay) and Indie-rock (Muse).
Acts such as Feeder, Saybia, James Blunt, Eskobar, Duran Duran, Madrugada or Wir Sind Helden are known to appreciate Sirupops own distinguished style having shared the stage, fans and the atmosphere at numerous gigs with them.
The release of their debut album Life is A Longplayer marked a milestone in the young bands history.
As a result their single Feel It made its entry in to the charts and its reward was massive airplay on Austrias biggest radiostations.
Driven by this success, Sirupop released two further singles This Can Be (My Last Chance) and Flair, which altogether climbed the airplay charts.
Meanwhile to everybodys delight the fourth video Flair received the title Video highlight of the week in the European music channel GoTv!
Boosted by this ambition to make it on an international scale, Sirupop continues to work on their dream. There are too many people who have not been touched by Sirupops music.
