"Good Ole Rock and Roll". The words that best describe the sounds of Singletree, a band from Nashville, TN that thrives on it's raw live shows and firery energy. Singletree was formed in January of 2005, and quickly molded a sound that is unique, old school, but modern all in one. With influences such as The Black Crowes, The Allman Brothers Band, Jimi Hendrix, Pearl Jam, Led Zepplin, Matchbox 20, Tom Petty, and Aerosmith, the band's pure rock and roll and soulful sound are sure to capture the attention of any audience. The band is fronted by singer Kyle Blankenship, whose powerful, yet melodic vocals are so captivating, that you almost easily forget that he is forcefully strumming away on an acoustic guitar. The rythym section of Singletree is held down by drummer Kevin Blankenship whose influence of r&b, soul, grunge, and hip-hop, mix together to throw out beats that will blow your mind, and bass guitarist Derek Stewart, as he sends his fingers sliding and flying up and down the neck of his bass to perform runs of speed that are dissying. The newest addition, is lead guitarist Kenneth Hathcote, whose rock influence, fast fingers, and ripping solos add the finishing touch.
