Throwback rockers We Are The Fury have been selected to open. Silverchair's new album, Young Modern, comes out on July 24th in the US. Young Modern was released in Silverchair's native country of Australia at the end of March, debuting at number 1 (Their 5th consecutive #1 album) on the Australian charts, and was double platinum within three weeks, making it Silverchair's fastest selling album to date.

We Are The Fury, with influences ranging from Bowie and T-Rex to Talking Heads and Television, combine early 70s glam and late 70s post punk, to reveal a truly unique sound and style. We Are The Fury has been named as one of Rolling Stone's Artists to Watch, and received 4 stars from Alternative Press. Supporting the release of their album, Venus, in late May, We Are The Fury will be joining the Silverchair world tour fresh off the Warped Tour.
