What started out as a group of students from the Saint Louis University(Baguio), BITTER-SWEET was originally composed of Sheen Reyes (vocals), Chi Noche (percussions), Lui Garcia (bass), and Zach Flores (guitars). The four did not have much time to play together that they decided to replace Zach with Toots Bagno (bass) shifting Lui to handle guitars and Chi to handle the drums to solidify the songwriting process from acoustic to full solid sound. September 21, 2007, SIGN OF SUCCUBI was born.
After everyone had their instruments in full swing rendering songs from Saydie, Flyleaf & UpDharmaDown, they decided to compose their own songs and have it recorded. Thanks to Mr. Resen Carbonel of Twisted Box Productions, the band recorded âLilithâ (1st composition) at their very own home for the band screening of Rebolusyon Record's next compilation album to be released nationwide. Luckily they got into the final screening but were then cut off because they only had 2 original compositions.
Nevertheless the band took time to clean out âLamiaâ (2nd Composition), and are now currently writing down song #10. Yes, 10, Songs 3-5 are done and are named "Mara: her MetaSiren", "Aphrodite's Embrace" & *âDi(e)anna and the Letter before her Funeralâ. Songs 6-9 are only in need of drum patterns and more riffs from the guitarsâ¦
*During the completion of Di(e)anna, Chi decided to shift from doing Drum duties to doing Samples instead. Thatâs when they got help from Sessionists Alfred(Drums/Romance in Tragedy), Greg(Drums) & Mike (Rhythm Guitar) from the band âSorry for Sorrowâ.
