Quiet suburbs and tree-lined streets are the images that come to mind when picturing a place like Connecticut. Underneath this suburban pastoral lie the feelings of alienation and longing that most kids experience growing up. Feelings that lead you to pick up an instrument and express yourself. Enter Signal The Escape, a group of five friends in their late teens/early twenties who came together in the spring of 2005 to share the collective bond that being in a band brings.

Rising from the ashes of CT post-hardcore band Forgive and Forget, Signal The Escape sought to blend the screaming buildups and breakdowns of their former self with a new maturity, tempering melody with raw emotion - a sound described by lead singer Tom Kavanagh as "screamo with pop sensibility." Taking their cues from bands like Silverstein, Taking Back Sunday, and Saves The Day, Signal The Escape address universal themes of love, loss, honesty and betrayal in three and a half minute musical vignettes.

Building on the groundwork laid with the These Scars Are Just The Beginning 5-song EP in 2007, Signal The Escape makes their full-length debut on Double Blind Music with the release of the 11-song album, All That You Deserve. Produced by Bryan Russell (Straylight Run, Envy On The Coast), with additional production by and mixed by Matt Squire (Panic At The Disco, Boys Like Girls), All That You Deserve showcases the transformation of a young band discovering their creativity and coming fully into their own with sharp, focused songwriting with airtight arrangements and big hooks. The first single "Maudlin" is a plea for trust ("You wont be alone. If you fall, I fall too"). While "Exorcism in the ER" is about knowing when its time to let go ("Doctor youve got to listen! My heart stopped beating when she said she adored him"). "As The Miles Sing The Distance" is about leaving the one you love back home as you try to make something of yourself ("When I'm gone. It won't be long. So hold on don't break"). And "Romantic Atheism" recounts the tale of a forbidden late night tryst ("Tonight is our secret, well die just to keep it. This can never leave this room").

Signal The Escape has been crisscrossing the country in their van, dubbed 'El Guapo' (Three Amigos fans take note), sharing the bills and stages with the likes of Cartel, Boys Like Girls, The Starting Line, Circa Survive, Silverstein, and Envy On The Coast. Catch the band on tour behind All That You Deserve all summer and beyond.
