Shorelines has hit the ground running with their debut EP "The Scars, The Scrapes, The Stories". Forming in early 2008 and compiled of members from previous bands in the suburban Detroit music scene, Shorelines have racked up 2,500 digital downloads of "Scars..." in the first 2 months of its release and have garnered close to 200,000 plays on Myspace, all the while blowing the doors off over 100 shows throughout the Midwest. Dave Mackinder of Fireworks also lent a helping hand vocally and in production of the record.

Shorelines have just wrapped up recording a new single with producer Chuck Alkazian (Rookie of the Year, Christina Aguilera, Bob Seger,) that will be released in late May, 2010 along with a music video shot by Los Angeles Director Thomas Horvath. The single, '55 Hours' will appear on an upcoming EP (produced and engineered by Alkazian) due out this Summer.

Taking a new approach to the modern day music scene by duplicating and handing out their EP at shows, they are quickly becoming the largest local draw within Michigan. With a die-hard street team and the word spreading fast, Shorelines has given out over 3,500 copies of their record in just Michigan alone, creating an exploding fan base that follows the band all over the mitten.
