Shirley Temple? was born in 2002 as a five member combo dealing with crossover and nu-metal. In 2003 the band releases an EP, called "Thisismaybe", a cool and fresh series of songs combining harsh assaults, deep grooves and catchy melodies. In 2005, after a year of touring and writing sessions, the band loses a member, and keeps on as a quartet. Still, the evolution of Shirley Temple?'s music shows a stronger and utterly in-your-face approach, never losing a taste for melody and great attention to song structure. At the beginning of 2006, Shirley Temple? begins its work on a new record, a eight-month work which has peeked in the realisation of the band's second effort, HERE COMES THE CLICHE': nine tracks of post-hc, modern rock and roll, and - damn - fun with a vintage sound and catchy melodies.
