Producer, singer, musician and sound designer, Shay Mane loves experimenting and fusing musical genres, searching and even going beyond them.

Known for his work on Les Nubians first album "Princesses Nubiennes" back in 1997, in which he wrote and composed the song "Sugar Cane".
He also worked for artists such as Kamit, Bams, Leo Zate, Julian Owens, Mike Ibrahim...

He produced and composed 'Lost Riddims', his first album released in 2OO2 on Universal France.
The project features MC, Poetess Toni Blackman, and jazz singer Valerie Belinga.
Often described as a ufo, the album painted a musical and mystical journey that refleted Shay's life while showed his skills and universe through beat syncops, soul, poetry, dub and African vibes.

Tracks such as "4Women", "Sangunagenda", and "Tu me Plais" were on heavy rotation on French 'super' Radio Nova.
"Tu me Plais" remained for more than 12 weeks on Europe 2 Dance Charts Top 10, and even ranked #6 for 3 weeks.
"The Sun" performed by Shay on vocals was often played on Gilles Peterson's Worldwide and described as "the new high school from France".

Since 2005, Shay has worked as a sound designer for dance companies.
He composed a soundtrack for choregrapher Sebastien Lefrancois show "Pas Pied".

And he also worked with his long time friend and collaborator, choregrapher / singer Ucka Ludovic Ilolo, alias Ucka Delia, on his mesmerizing show "La Source".
Actually touring in France as a work in progress.
Shay and Ucka's crew are adding the final touch to the show, in which features a remixed version of "Father's Art" and more...

Shay is currently achieving his new album "Father's art".
It is a ballad album, a songwriting work in which Folk, French chanson as well as subtil rhythms and electronica are melting together.

Samples of "Les Mots Dits"; "Lounge of time " ; "Juste Causer (Remix)" & "Numidian Threnody" are brand new songs, unheard before (except on stage) "Eyebrows", and song journey "Mercy" are the only entire tracks which will be part of the forthcoming album "Father's Art". Enjoy it, it's exclusive!!
