So its crazy thats its already December the year has flown by! but anyways i'm at rockettown in nashville, TN right now. This venue is amazing, free high speed internet, good coffe and tons of space. We got here mad early today and we forgot about the time change, so we've been shilling here a good majority of the day. had time to load in, workout w/ ET, and still had plenty of time to screw around and eat pizza. We're 5 days into the Widespread Panic tour w/ Embrace today, and its been a blast, despite the fact its so friggin' cold out. those guys are awesome. We started in VA beach which was cool, juilan and keith from bloody sunday came out. and it was a really fun show. I guess ALID and Madball were playing the next day, so turn out was a bit low, but everyone who was there had a lot of fun. The Next day was Dayton, OH, which was a 10 hour drive through west virginia. We stopped for gas in WV and saw something crazy. These 5 dudes had a dead deer in the back of their truck which i assume they just shot hunting. well, the deer couldn't exactly fit in the bed of their truck, so they took out a kitchen knife, and cut the deer's head off right there in the parking lot in front of kids and everyone. It was really gross and somewhat disturbing, but it makes for a hilarious story. The Dayton show was good, it was raining like crazy, but awesome as always. Our Friends in Suffocate Faster came out and bro-ed down like the best. We stayed at our friend Jamie's house and she and her mom cooked us breakfast the next morning which was amazing. Thanks Jamie. We played detroit the next day which was entirely way too cold. we had to wait around the next day for merch being shipped there, then we hauled it to Elkhart, IN where we played in a barn. No Joke. With no heat. Only 2nd show i ever played wearing pants. I hated it. awesome reaction, just playing in pants sucks, thats my official position on pants. Really good show, kids there are always awesome. Last night was louisville. Amazing show, definitely the best of tour so far. We were kinda rushed on time, but still awesome. we played there alot this year, so its been getting better and better each time. ET covered Firestorm... twice which was quite entertaining. And chris towning sxf got nearly naked during our set in the pit. way too much "dudity" from him. so yeah, we are here at rockettown now. should be good its friday and whatnot. theyre playing Deathcab for Cutie now, which i used to loathe with a passion, but now i find them only mildly irritating. Which brings me to a point. Radiohead sucks.Shawn listened to them today and I wanted to kill myself. I hate that band. I will make no apologies for that. The most Overrated band in history. Thats a fact. yeah thats about it for now.
