Seraphim is a new band, based out of Christopher Newport University in Newport News, Virginia. The band started out with three members: Logan Shermeyer, Chris Schulz, and Taylor Smith. After meeting Tim Speak and Travis Philyaw, the guys decided to have a practice session to see what would happen. After the first practice, they knew they wanted to continue with the band. The band's first performance was at the York's Got Talent, Talent Show. They covered Weezer's "Say It Ain't So." They shocked the entire crowd with their amazing vocals, incredible guitar solos, and amazing drum beats. The whole crowd got into the performance and the band is now working on original music to play more shows on and off campus.
