Igniting knee-jerk reactions throughout the industry and more importantly with its rabid fan-base, this Atlanta, Georgia five-piece's unique approach has built up an impressive resume of rock in just 2 years.

The allure lies somewhere between the head-on collision of alternative and mainstream, with a nod to rock forefathers such as The Replacements, Bad Religion and The Rolling Stones. Call and response melodies and a captivating, rapid-fire live set have earned them opening slots for high profile shows. Jet, The Vines, The Living End, Weezer, The Bravery, OK GO, The Dead 60's, Hot Hot Heat, Louis XIV, and Drivin 'N Cryin have all called on Second Shift to stir up the crowd with their frenetic, contagious sound and disarming stage presence.

As word spread about the Second Shift live experience, lead by magnetic frontman Jonathan Baker, several major Atlanta rock stations, ranging from alternative radio staple 99X, 96.7 The Buzz, 96 Rock, and college radio giant Album 88 (WRAS) began playing their single ?Bethany? and fans beckoned for a conduit.

Enter: Boozed and Bruised, the debut release from Second Shift, delivers straight ahead rock n' roll album- edgy and pop driven. Available October 2005, Second Shift?s caffeinated first effort is drenched in urgency and laced with the perfect amount of swagger and wit. Chugging, fast-paced rhythmic guitars, backed by a relentless drum and base line is the very definition of chaos refined.
