Seasons After is a five piece rock/metal band formed in late 2006. The band began to write songs for their demo release in April of 2007. These same four songs have been re-recorded for the full-length release in June 2008.
"We have put our entire lives and every ounce of effort into this album" Tim (drums) states, "The music is reflective of our combined influences. We all have worked incredibly hard to get this album out. It's been a long road and to see it finally come full circle is an amazing feeling."
"Through Tomorrow" embarks audiences on a journey through life's toils and snares, lifts the listener up with lyrics like, "Stand for something now, don't fall for anything" and sends listeners crashing back down to a somber reality like told in the lyrics of "The Worst Parts". "The Worst Parts is about the end of the world" Chris (vocals) explains, "The lyrics talk about how bad things are all over the world and how there is seemingly nothing we can do to stop them from continuing."
Tracks from the album have been played on numerous radio stations spanning from Texas to Nebraska and from Missouri to Colorado. Seasons After hopes to continue expanding the radio play as far as possible, and so far without the aid of any hired help. "We have been doing all of this ourselves" Michael (bass) adds, "but mostly the touring dates and promotion has been our second, or sometimes third job"
In all, "Through Tomorrow" is a feast of crunchy guitar riffs and heavy bass drum patterns blended with harmonic vocals. "People ask us what we sound like and I always tell them it's hard to describe" Dawson (Guitar) says with a grin, "They usually think of bands like Linkin Park when we say it's melodic and heavy, so we usually just go with it. It can't be that bad to be compared to a platinum selling artist!
